I got it for a dollar, because it has a stamp on the other side (you'll have to trust me on that). Because I have a couple of less abused Buhl Sons & Co Detroit, I can just tell that that's what this one is.

The helve is actually in great shape, except for the half-circle warp in the grip area. I'll replace the wedges and see if that curve confers any ergonomic advantages (probably not).

The other axe is a Gambles Artisan, and stamped. That's a real Crescent wrench from Jamestown NY (12"). The brush-hook and the corneta de aquila machette were from different sales. Not a bad haul by my standards. The most any item cost was $2.
