Has anybody seen this?

I managed to score one off the Sales forum. May have to add this one to the collection now .

I'm thinking that it's old information.

They made it for just one dealer - and they don't have it listed.

There are two of these on Ebay - one for $850.00, one for $999.99

On Ebay right now there's another one, an early liner lock AFCK with an M2HHS blade, current bid is $122.50, and there's a regular D2 axis with a current bid of $201.69.

If I wasn't poor from buying several knives recently, I'd probably bid on the D2. But it will go to about $350 before it sells, I think.

Like it says in the item description at that link...

a limited edition version of this discontinued model

So it's the same as when Spyderco does a sprint run of a disco'd knife. Not coming back for full-on production.

I know it isn't coming back for good, but I didn't know if it was going to pay us a visit or if it had already passed through.

BJE the afcks in the link you posted were a limited edition of 100. Made for We Be Knives in San Francisco. The shop owner had them for sale on ebay back in the early months of 2007 for $325.00. I tracked one on ebay a week or so ago and I think it sold for $475.00.
The afcks on ebay now that are listed at $850 to $1000 are another limited edition of 38 with black coated blades made for an international dealer.

Gold Class Limited Edition-- Exclusive for Benchmade Dealers Outside of North America - Odd no? Wonder what they have against the US, Mexico, and Canada?

Anybody notice the 5 point spread on the hardness of the S30V blade? 55-60 HRC. Hmmmm ...
not for me even if they were available.
