Has anybody tried using fishing nets as hammocks?

Just a thought. I noticed that some people like picking fish nets for their list of ten so I thought it might be a way of avoiding critters at night.

Has anybody tried this?

No, but I have used net hammocks. I detest them. Things get hung up in them which too often rip and tear them. If you want to camp in a hammock, get one designed for it, but keep in mind that more and more public lands are banning hammock camping because of damage to trees.

I also dislike my net hammock. Switched first to a sturdy sailors hammock and then to a hennessy expedition asymmetrical system with tarp and bug net.
