Has anyone actually wear out a sebenza?

I was wondering if anyone has ever worn out the framelock on a sebenza? If so did you have to buy a new knife?

Although I have carried and used my Sebenza daily for a long time now I don't believe I will ever wear it out. It is still the same as the day I got it.
Even if I did manage to live long enough to wear one out my Sebenza has a Lifetime Warranty, which I sadly do not.
I will wear out long before my Sebenza.
Long live the Sebbie!!

I've got one from 1999 that developed a little stickiness in the lock. Sent it back, and it came back perfect again.

Small regular BG-42, 1996, finally developed a smidgen of play at 100% engagement about a year ago. Sent it back, was fixed fast & perfect. Looking forward to another 15 years of service. Don't believe the haters you read posting here.

Thanks everyone. My lockup is nearly at 75% and I was wondering how fast the Ti might wear and what to do when it is worn out.

When I bought mine it broke in about 5% and hasn't moved from that spot in three years. The Senenza is definitely one of the better knives out there when it comes to wear.

My 21 is about 6-7 months old, went from 45% to 60%. Used it hard, cardboard+wood+camping. I've batoned (lightly), cut rubber, cut cardboard, wood, wires (thin), pryed, and more.

I haven't used it in ages due not so great real world performance (poor ergo mostly, and soft S30V).

When/if it wears out to the point of blade play you'll need to send it in. CRK will fix it right up and send it back looking brand new.

I wouldn't worry about it until then tho. I haven't personally seen many worn out Sebenzas

Only worn/abused Sebenzas I've see have been due to poor or over-sharpening. Never seen any cases where the lock or pivot has worn out.
