Has anyone added a pocket clip to a knife?
I want to add a clip to a Greco Falcon folder (Ill never use the pouch that was sent with the knife and I dont like it sitting in my pocket) and was wondering if anyone has done this with this or any knife and what problems did you encounter? Where did you get the clip, and how did you attach it? Meaning did you buy a clip, take it off an older knife, and did you do any machining to get it to sit flush? I have been thinking of ordering a 3 screw clip from one of the various suppliers and breaking out the tap & die set and going for it, but was looking for some other ideas. Are there known problems with attaching a clip? Should I really go through the problems of machining (meaning taking it to somebody with a milling machine) and a nicer looking 1 screw setup over what I see as the easier 3 screw attachment or what? Basically I am looking for a little encouragement (or is that a kick in the a$$) from somebody that has done it to help me over the fear of messing up (cosmetically only I know, but thats enough to bother me) my knife.
Thanks
Todd
