I know CRK wont stonewash BG42 and I believe it is because the thumb stud can not be removed. Is there a DIY way to do it. Maybe a way to leave the thumb stud it but cover and protect it somehow? I've stonewashed blades and TI handles myself and my results are pretty good so i'm trying to think of a way to do this, I just need some PROOVEN advice before i go trying it. Anyone with experience have any advice they can share?? Thanks.

I have a 2001 small unique in bg 42 with a stone washed blade. It can that way from CRK that way as far as I know. Uniques usually have a polished blade.

You can buy my small unique, I can seem to use it. It's almost linib.

Mine is stonewashed but has some minor scratches. I was thinking of trying to stonewash it myself to clean it up a bit and even it out cuz i know they wont do it at CRK.
