Has anyone been to the opening night of the new Star Wars movies?

I just bought 6 tickets on the 'net for the opening showing of Star Wars, and I'm pretty excited.
I'm just wondering what to expect, nothing I can't imagine, yelling, costumes....
Lots of craziness, I guess.
But I would like to hear from those that have done this already.
Also, I need to know how soon should I be at theater before the beginning of the show. (any guesses)
I also plan to ask the theater manager when I go to pick up tickets, so I'm not totally unprepared.
Also, will the theaters allow props. (like plastic lightsabers, etc.)

The whole Star Wars phenomenon is a sore subject in my house right now. After having seen a commercial for Revenge of the Sith our male Dachshund (otherwise known as a wiener dog) and our female Jack Russell have demanded that we address them by their "Star Wars" names. Our Dachshund is now known as Darth Viener and the Jack Russell will only answer to Queen Imadoga.

With the release of the last one, The Attack of the Clowns, I went to the late-night (1:00am) showing on opening day. The theatre was nice and quiet since it was a school/work night. No goofiness, just popcorn and a movie.

I went t the opening night of both of the new ones...and was unimpressed. Eppisode one sucked in hindsight, Episode 2 was decent, and episode 3 seems promising. Unless some of my friends come to me to go see it, I dont think i will be there opening night this time.
