Has anyone bought an Advocate...

In the last couple of months. I remember that Sal made a post on a thread about the Advocate.

He said the Advocate would start to ship in January....with the new changes.

If you've bought 1 recently how do you like your knife.

I got one with the improved pivot and it is really a satisfying knife. I love the orange peel texture on the handle scales and it flips pretty well.

The flippers I have for comparison are from Olamic and these do flip better than the Spyderco, but then they were almost twice the price (or more).

There's no blade play and lockup is good at about 50% or so. Since I've only had it a couple of weeks I haven't cut much with it yet, but it came nice and sharp. Certainly one of my favorite new knives in a while.
