Has anyone broken a Tri-Ad lock?

Curious to see if anyone has broken these locks and how. Most of the time, reasonable knife usages won’t come anywhere near the breaking point of a Tri-Ad knife.

I've never broken any lock on any folding knives in the 40 or so years I have been using them. I've had a couple of close calls with lock failure due to poor manufacturing or improper usage, but locks don't break under normal conditions unless things have gone terribly wrong. It's like the water heater rocket myth; it can happen, but you have to really work at it either deliberately or through staggering amounts of misuse. Tri-Ad locks are my gold standard for a safe lockup, but I still won't use one like I would a fixed blade.

I cannot imagine breaking a TriAd lock. The only way Cold Steel manages it is by bolting the blade in place -- you would never be able to hold the weight necessary to break one in your hands.

I know at least two cases found here on BF (pics saved) and one in Russia (knife lock tests performed by Saint Petersburg knife club members). All three were broken at the same freaking spot. Axislock won in that test by the way (ha ha ha). Also these guys could not brake the Pocket Bushman. I'll drop some pics when I get home. But it will be in two days.
