Has anyone else bought one of these terrible multi-tools?

First thread I've started, so bear with me: of it should be in reviews or something, please move it along.

I carried, for years, a Gerber Legend. An excellent knife, with the (for me at least) essential carbide jaws. Sadly, it vanished one day. Probably left on a doorstep. :-/
(I'm a locksmith)

Lack of funds (wow, the Legend is expensive) lead me to look at the market, but I'm sticking with the best, & I decided that while I saved up and suppliers got more stock in (Gerber are doing some weird distributor change in the UK apparently?) I'd get a cheaper tool.

So I got this :

Jeep should be ashamed! Yes, it was only £20, but really! The pliers bent on the first use. Seriously. Not only do they trap your hand unless you turn them upside down, but that useless 'detailing' in the form of three circles? It just creates a weak point. The handle bent *sideways* along that 'feature'.

Hard to see, but the handle is no longer straight; it kicks out a bit.

You can also see the fit is no longer very good either when closed.

Further, the handy sockets? The screwdriver bits are made of cheese! Why have a side hole to allow tonnes of torque at all when I bent the flathead bit on a regular screw using the low torque side? (The screw was fine, & I removed it using my electrical screwdriver!) Very poor.

On the plus side, the blade is great. Blacked, and a decent steel. Nice little knurled knob to deploy one-handed. The main reason I keep it around.

The little adjustable spanner is the main reason I went for this tool, & it works ok. I've not dared test it hard though, & it only fits small nuts. Better than the Victorinox pliers for nuts, just about.

Not a patch on the Gerber!
