I got mine a few days ago. Fantastic little knife. I've been wanting a small fixed utility knife for a few years and this fits the bill nicely. Its roughly the same size as a full-sized Griptilian (sorry I can't figure out how to load pictures).

Yes Sir! I went crazy buying First Productions this month, I even bought a folder, the Fact. I'm not a folder guy, probably bought 25 knives since my last folder.
I didn't "need" another fixed blade like the Pardue Hunter to fill a hole, but my local store had one from the First Production run so I bought it primarily for that. I intended on not using or carrying it but already less than two weeks later I'm having a really hard time not playing with it.
It feels great it in the hand and looks good too. I love the blade profile for animal processing work. Gonna be really hard not to use it, but like I said, I have others that can do it's job so I can continue to admire it in factory pristine condition.
Can't say the same for the Follow Up First Production I picked up 1st. The kydex? sheath scratched and scuffed the heck out of the black coating within 2 days of carrying it. I never intended to keep it in new condition so im kinda ok with it, but it sure happened fast. I wonder if Benchmade would put the First Production stamp back on it if I sent it to them to have the coating stripped off. Although, the black would look better, even worn, with the Rosewood scales I put on it.
I need to pony up for the membership so I can post pics, but my local store is having a sale this weekend and they still have a couple First Productions lol.
