I dont know about the bottom dagger,but the top and middle knife look like they came from the Canary Islands.They are still made like that today.

Yes, they are typical of the knives carried by Canarian country folk.

I just got the smaller one with the olive wood handle. Very light and quick.

They are one of the symbols of rural Canarian identity, very much like the Puukko of Finland. When most people think of Spanish knives, the navaja comes to mind, however, the Canarian knife is largely overlooked. By their design you can obviously see the Arab influence which is typical of many knives in Spain.

This is also a style that was very poplar in this country through-out the southwest,into Louisiana and Florida,way before the Bowie came into being.Now called the Mediterranean,or Spanish dagger.It's one of my favorites,in it's many forms.
