I recently acquired one and there is absolutely nothing wrong with it (minus getting let down by some omitted information regarding the original box in a trade) but I'd like to know what's inside. Examining the knife, it appears there may be a milled out portion of one scale around the pivot that may also hold the stop pin mechanism along with the washer somehow. I say this because there is no visbale stop pin between the scales and I can see a larger milled out portion of the pivot area on one side of one of the scale plates from the outside looking in.

I'm curious also about the ease of take down and reassembly. It looks easy but you never know.

Thanks!

I have, they have the stop pin inside that rides in that milled out area. The stop pin only sticks out on that one side inside the pivot area :)

As Mr. So-Lo says above, the stop pin is pressed into the blade similar to a ZT, strider... however its on the inside making for a very clean appearance. I've taken mine apart several times and it is very easy. If you've taken apart any liner or frame lock apart, which I assume you have, you'll have no problem at all assembling this one.

Thanks, nevermind35, So-Lo! Much appreciated. I'm versed enough. I just wanted to make sure it was as straight forward as it looks.

Sure is, after STR makes you a smaller color matched clip that knife will be one sweet little EDC :D
