To me the blade is already perfection. But I would like to see what Krein would do to one.

Anyone have a pic?

imho he would do nothing spectacular to the eye, the blade is already full flat ground, perhaps add a swedge and certainly thin it a bit.

actually i have something like that ... a s90v milie that served and its previous owner quite well, sharpened quite a few time and probably a broken and repaired tip judging by the thickness, a couple of dings on the spine near the tip from me too. so i sent it to a young and talented french knifemaker to make it right again. he measured the thickness behind the edge at 0,87mm and almost 1mm at the tip.

he took everything to 0,6mm wich i think is a hair thinner than stock and cut two very subtle swedges to hide the dings on the spine. his pictures, i'll try to shoot a couple more tomorow if i have some time.

Wow that looks really good...

I have one that Tom did early on before he marked them. The Military is probably the worst choice to have Tom work his magic on. The blade is already nice and thin so the blade really doesn't look much different. The edge is certainly thinner and like a laser though. I looked but can't find a good picture of it .
