hey you guys I remember a while back a member of this forum asked CRK to grind a swedge on a regular profile sebenza. the knife looked awsome. I was wondering if any of you guys ever had this done on a 21. If so can you post pics, I was thinking of having this done.

Yup, swedges only on the regular profile blade. But Im sure there are knifemakers on this forum that can help you out and give ya a pretty nice swedge.

I inquired about getting a swedge on a large 21 micarta a while ago since I love the swedge on the regular sebs, and they told me that they do not offer them on the 21's since it would be less noticiable and since the 21's Bblade is more of a pointer shape.

But the swedge on the regulars are functional and look amazing!!

I had one done by Tom Krein awhile back, Steve is right though CRK will not swedge the 21.

Did CRK ever do a Classic with a Swedge? I have a Small Mayo with one, maybe Tom did it.

I don't believe so, but there are some aftermarket customs that have swedges ground - such as the Mayo'd Seb you're talking about. I think that Kingdom Armory may done something like it, and of course there's atony's special "Krein Grind" :)

You have renewed my interest in putting a sweets on my annual, I sort of agree with CR on this, it doesn't add much functionality on the 21, and it's not sO noticeable. But it is a nice minor accent.
