Has Anyone Ever Made A Black Axis Pivot Bolt Silver?

Just wondering if this was possible--I had some beautiful silver twill ( by DOAT) scales made for my 940-1501 and I'm thinking of making all the hardware silver to match the scales. Benchmade is sending me a silver deep carry clip, and aftermarket silver screws are available, but the black pivot is going to stand out. IMG_0097.jpg

I sent my full size grip for replacement of all hardware from black to silver and described that I would pay and they did it without any payment! Pretty awesome

I have used a dremel and green strop compound and polished the black to silver on two knives now.

I probably can't send it back for silver hardware since I have aftermarket scales on it now, but Codswallop, that polishing looks great.

You probably still can. Benchmade warranty is really good about not making a big deal of aftermarket scales.

Just a suggestion, but I recently got all new original screws for my 580, as well as 4 deep carry clips for it and my mini grip, so why not email (or call even better) BM and describe what you are looking for and maybe they'll just send you out all new silver screws.

Yes, I do it all the time.
Dremel, polishing wheel & metal buffing compound + 2 min. of effort = satin/mirrored finish.
