Ok, not sure if I can post this picture so I am, and if I can't, someone please tell me, is this a military issue knife? Anyone know the story behind this? Any info?

Picture has been removed because I'm not sure it is proper to post.

Going to lock this one down.

11 Bravo Skill Identifier

Infantry Soldier of a certain grade with certain schooling .....my best guess

Probably just a coincidence, but 11B is the US Army Military Occupation Specialty for Infantryman.

From the internets:

11B is Infantry, this is the abbreviated usage of your MOS.
The full MOS for grades E-1 thru E-4 is 11B1O00YY.
The other digits in the MOS represent different identifiers.
The first three (11B) indicate the MOS.
The next one represents the skill level.
The next one represents any Special Qualification Identifiers.
The next two represent any Additional Skill Identifiers.
The last two represent any language identifiers.
So an infantryman who is Parachutist qualified (Airborne Infantry) and in the grade E-1 thru E-4 would be 11B1P00YY.
The "O" would change to a "P" indicating the Parachutist Special Qualification Identifier.

Why not just send a PM to Jerry and ask him? If he does not know, the janitor might. :-)

Yes I have at a yard sale. They had a box labeled 1$ a piece. Should I go back and get some?? ;-p

I hope that we get to see more of that! We know that Busse has made many knives for various mil units, and yet none has ever shown up here before.
