Has anyone ever seen or heard of this CRK 1 of 1 Fixed blade?

A new forum member posted up an interesting fixed blade. He said he bought it at Blade, Florida and that is is a one of one. Pretty interesting knife, how do you think the inlay was set in there, with 3M? Here's a link to the post and photo.

Not sure how the scales were secured but I've seen 2 others with the same style of inlay. Can't find the pic of the other knife but it was on Ebay a couple of times. Large knife with scrim work, maybe on my old laptop, I'll have a look later. This is the other one.
