If so, how was it?

If not, it tastes absolutely divine. Go try one now.

Here is a video to go along with it:

no seriously, try it, it's amazing. Yes, that's home-made Blackberry jelly purchased at a farmer's market :)

What makes it a jelly 'patty?'

It just looks like a sausage, egg, and cheese with some jelly on it. Is that what it is?

Where's the other patty, tomatoes, cheese, and jalapenos?
What's that purple stuff? I'll take thousand island.

You're all wrong!

Don't over think the American hamburger-- and certainly don't try to re-invent it.

I don't even like Burger King's Whopper, or Wendy's burgers (but MacDonalds are great), because there is a lot of vegetables on them. Feh!

When I bite into a burger I want to taste fat, salt, and ketchup-- nothing else.

And by the way, "jelly patty" sounds like some sort of emasculated monstrosity from England.

I would try it ... maybe if I remember the next time I'm having a burger. I've learned to be more adventurous since discovering how awesome peanut butter and bacon sandwiches are.
