Because I did!!! :D

I like how it came out and how it feels in hand. I'm probably going to dip it a few more times to build it up a little.

Nice, but I want to some before and after pics of how it wears, just because. :D
 
my experience with tool dip is that it's pretty soft and does not wear well.
spray on undercoating or herculiner OTOH...
 
I have it on a push dagger it holds up fine on that but its not like it gets much use.
 
I'm gonna dip it a few more times and see how that goes. Then I'll wrap it with cord and dip it again to see how that works out.

This will be a long process.
 
good idea, less maintenance.
The spray version of the tool dip is lousy.
 
Done this a few years ago, but after I got some gas on the stuff it melted off and made a mess till I cleaned it all the way off.
 
I assume tool dip is made out of nylon if gas just melted it on contact.
 
So I wrapped the handel and dipped it again.

I haven't had a chance to use it much yet. So I'll get to that soon.
