Has anyone ever wrestled a grizzly with the BK9?

Cuz just looking at that thing puts crazy ideas in my head about what I could do with it!.....I love my BK2, I really do. I have no need for a BK9. The bk2 really does pretty much everything i need...BUT THE 9'S ARE JUST SO DANG COOL!!!

I guess what I really need here is some good 'ol fashioned enabling from some anonymous folks on the internet. :p
 
Wrestled a Grizzly with a BK9? Not even a BK9 is gonna help you there. But I vote you give it a try, and what's left of you report back to us...
 
I once came across a bear while hiking. all I had to do was pull Brutus,aka my bk 9 from his sheath and give him a little flash of cro-van steel! That bear ran like a little teddy bear calling for his mamma... True story :cool:
 
Nope, not that's been documented at least. Give it a try, whether you win or lose the BK9 will end up on display in the Becker Knife & Tool museum. Course, if you lose we'll have to clean the knife of bear scat prior.

No, no, I promise you, regardless of what you're thinking (I used to think that way too), you do need one; just, watch your fingers around it, it'll bite em when you're not lookin ;)
 
I also tried to once, but as soon as the bear saw the Becker, he took off like a jackrabbit!
 
I regularly hunt grizzly with my BK9 wearing nothing more than a loin cloth. It's my cross-fit training.
I recommend a nice convex edge and a sharpened swedge for grizzly hunting though, the default grind just doesn't cut it.

If I ever come across a bear who's carrying a BK9, I'm just going to lie down and weep.

Unfortunately, I do not.....hence why I need some enabling in this thread. :D
 
wrestling does not require a knife...

besides, bears have "stand your ground laws" to protect them

yeah, so don't go profiling no bears...

don't shave them either

they hate that

need to get my hitch a trailer. hitches love trailers :)
