Has anyone had a knife drilled to move a clip?

I dearly love my pair of Kershaw Boas. The only thing I don't like about them is the tip-down clip position. Now I'm thinking about having someone drill and tap holes so I can invert the clips. Has anyone else had something like that done? Can anyone give me tips on who I could ask to do that kind of work?

I've worked things out on my own. Robert Beultel, a local gunsmith, who has done excellent work on several firearms for me, is drilling and tapping my Boas so I can reverse the clips. I can't wait to get them back!

Good idea, Bob. I may be doing that with some of my tip-downs some day.

I did that to a MT Socom. Go for it, you'll be happy. Just remember to use a center punch before you drill.
