Hello, I’m creating another post as I upset two people by asking how much this piece was worth in my previous post despite the fact I don’t want to sell it I was just interested as I have been unable to find another one anywhere online.

So firstly I would not like a valuation.. Secondly… I would not like to sell this item. I simply want to know if anyone else has seen or had one of these knifes. It was gifted with a new T5 Defender purchased in the 90’s, It’s in a landrover case and is a green pocket knife with Landrover printed on the side and also “Rodgers stainless Sheffield England” on the bottom of the blade alongside two little symbols.

Again I do not wish to sell this item for anyone this post offends and I’m not willing to buy a membership for something which doesn’t really interest me at all. If I wanted to sell the piece I would buy a membership but I have no interested in selling it.

James.

Thanks, I had a look through and couldn’t see any information on the Landrover knife just the picture on the top of the post.

Odds are it was sold in a souvenir shop or given out for test driving or buying a Land Rover.

It's a standard marketing knife just like millions of knives and of other companies that did this.

I also have an Unwin and Rodgers knife pistol, does anyone know if it’s the same Rodgers as they are both made in Sheffield. The knife pistol itself is around 150 years old I believe.

It came with a defender purchased in the 90’s, It’s obviously not something very sought after then.

I work for Land Rover and I've never seen or heard of it....
Everyone is so defensive on this site haha. Wouldn’t a company like Rodgers steel in Sheffield which has been open for hundreds of years not brand some of their knifes with a Landrover logo and risk a serious lawsuit? Ask someone at Landrover who has been there In the 90’s and they may have seen one, It came with the owners manual as just a little gift. It’s not that serious….. Should probably remove this post before I upset anyone else…

Just looked at your profile, You are from New Jersey and is likely why you haven’t seen one because it was for English customers in England. What do you do at Landrover May I ask?
