Has anyone heard from Newt Livesay lately?

Has anyone heard from Newt Livesay lately? I have been trying to get a response by email for a couple of weeks now. Today I tried calling and found that neither his voice number nor his fax number appears to answer at all. I'm not worried that he may have disappeared or anything, but I would like to know what's going on. (I'm just trying to check the status on an overdue order.)

Newt is/has been having a bad luck streak of biblical proportions. His production was down (moving his shop) and he was limited to stock on hand. Last I heard, he is to be up & running again soon. We're all pulling for him.

I am sorry to hear that he's been having a rough time! I will just try to be patient and wait for him to get back on top of things again. You know how it is to wait when you want to get your hands on a new toy.

I've had an order open and paid for with Newt since April which I believe is before the trouble. I wish I could give you some hope...

I have had an order paid for since may. He has answered a couple of my e-mails,telling me my knives are waiting to be parkerized.This has been going on for months now. I know he had some trouble, but when I talked to him on the phone when i made my order he didnt mention any problems. He just took my money and told me the knives would ship in two weeks.That was back in May!
