Has anyone heard of Blade-Tech?

I bought one of their neck knives a couple years ago (WAY before I was online, unfortunately). I guess that they are more famous for their scabbards/holsters. Anyway, after becoming a member of this forum (long-time lurker), and purchasing a Stiff KISS and an Emerson La Griffe, I am beginning to realize that the neck knife I bought from them is terrible! First, it is almost an exact replica of the REKAT utility neck knife, second, for the fifty bucks I paid for it, I would think the grind line would be even on each side of the blade. Last, all of the edges of the handle (outer edges and the edges of the holes in the handle) are very rough (I'd have thought they should've been smoother for the money).
On the other hand, maybe I shouldn't be comparing this knife to an Emerson or CRK&T (which, by the way, were both less money).
Any comments? (***This is an edit--in the topic line, I named the company Blade-Tech accidentally--it should have been TACTICAL TOOLS that was named! My apologies!)

Blade-Tech is a Tacoma, Washington based company owned by Tim Wegner (designer of the Spyderco Wegner). I think they do a lot of custom sheaths and holsters.

Their website is:

Hope this helps!

I didn't know they made neck knives. I have some of their kydex gear and it is excellent.

MY SINCEREST APOLOGIES TO BLADE-TECH!!!!
The knife I purchased was from the company "Tactical Tools", NOT Blade-Tech (I have no idea why I wrote Blade-Tech in my original post!)

Again, I apologize to the folks at Blade-Tech!

I was wondering how this would play out! Glad it was cleared up. Now, in defense of Tactical Tools, a customer has sent me a surefire 6P to get a Concealex sheath made for it, and he sent it with the TT sheath he already owns. It is very well designed, ingeniusly executed, and nicely finished. I like the little thing quite a bit. The sheath I ended up making for this customer uses the same basic retention design, but I added a compartment for extra betteries as well as a clip that can allow the sheath to be used in the horizontal or vertical carry positions. I'll post a pic when I have one scanned...

I have to agree with you 100% Chiro75--the neck scabbard that came with the knife was top-notch. (Good design, fit, and finish.) It is the knife, however, that I presume I was paying a major portion of that price for.
