Hello,

I was curious if anyone else has ever heard of Mission Essential Hydration? I purchased one of their hydration packs from my local BX here on base about 3 years ago, but I haven't been able to find out any more info on them. The sales tag on the pack had a web address on it, but when I tried to log on, I was unable.

I just wanted to know if they still offer the extra products I saw at the time of my purchase (mag pouches, first aid pouches, utility pouches, etc).

If anyone has any info they can give, I'd appreciate it!

Thanks

Sorry not familiar with that brand. I have several Camelbaks, I would think that you should be able to find replacement bladders that will fit from any good sporting goods store, if you need one. I have been very happy with all of my Camelbaks, durable, good insulation, and they last a good long time too. Hydrate or Die! Camelbak does offer mil spec versions too, some I have seen have all sorts of add-on goodies. I think you can get them through US Calvary stores. My two bits worth.

Got a camelbak Hi-Viz
works terrific
run with it
use it on the job road detail
can't be missed- the orange hurts yer eyes

might just be the QC of camelbaks from a long time back (5 yrs ago) but all 3 i had didn't stand up to much use before showing signs of wear like zippers failing, threads giving way etc

i much prefer BHI's hydrastorm
takes a beating and comes back for more every time

I've run across them somewhere else, maybe in U.S. Cav, but I don't know anything about them. This may seem like an offbeat idea, but you might try emailing someone at Backpacker or Outdoor magazine, they may have websites, and they review gear all the time.
