Hi there,
Last week I imported 3 high end fixed blade daggers I bought from BladeHQ. I'm extremely familiar with all import laws and prohibited knives in Canada. These daggers are not "push daggers" they are regular fixed fixed blade knives and dont fall into any category under CBSA import laws where they could be deemed as weapons. They look "scary" as they are modern versions of tactical daggers is all I'll say. Even as such they are not classified as weapons under CBSA definitions or the criminal code of Canada.
I'm merely a collector and most of my knives I keep unused for display and collection.
I used USPS and Canada Post. They seem to now be stuck in Customs for days without any new updates or scans.
My question:
Has anyone imported regular fixed blade daggers into Canada and had them seized??? Has anyone been successful in importing daggers???
Any experience to share would be helpful.
Many thanks in advance.
