I talked to a knife dealer yesterday who supposedly was told by a major knike wholesale dealer that CS is going to revamp their whole lineup to better reflect customer interests .

I haven't seen this kind of info posted anywhere else , so I'm rightfully skeptical at this point .

Any relevent info would appreciated. Thanks

Wow! I wonder if this means that, instead of continuing to offer what look like Randall, SOG, Okapi, Tighe, Strider, and Grohmann clones, they're going to instead start offering Buck, Benchmade, CRK, Kershaw, Hossom, and Spyderco clones?;):D

Shhh! You're going to have half the people from the Cold Steel thread over here ranting about how it's perfectly justifiable for Cold Steel to make clones of other manufacturer's products, and how they'll keep buying them because they're DAMN GOOD KNIVES ANYWAY, NO MATTER WHAT THE HATERS SAY and... :D

It does look like something is different. I got my latest catalog a few weeks ago and it seems there are more swords, machetes and other non-knife stuff in it than any one of there other catalogs I have seen.

Nala

I think that's because they've recently (within the last year?) added a ton more swords, machetes, bats, and other things. Other than the additions, nothin much has changed other than some steels and the manufacturers of some of their pieces.

And if they do go the CRKT route, does that mean they'll make clones of clones?

Maybe they try to step into the 12 year old ninja market vacated by the recent bankruptcy of United Cutlery.

ROTFLMAO ! Hey they catered to more than just 12 yr old Ninja's , they sold Starwars nerds crap too! lol

I wish that Lynn would quit worrying about Strider and everyone else and just focus on making newer and better designs .

I am waiting for the new Carbon V nunchucks! :D
