I just got an email with an ad for Duracoat Shake-n-Spray kit. It says no airbrush needed, and aailable in most standard colors. I currently use an airbrush to do it on my guns, but this kit intrigued me. Here is the flier I got...http://www.lauerweaponry.com/index.cfm

Anyone here try it yet?

Note to mods, I am not selling products or services reated to duracoat, nor do I have any afiliation with the company.

I've tried the Brownells stuff and it looks like a spray can job even though they claim it will not. I don't think you'll get the control you want with a can nozzle and if you're use to a gun type sprayer you'll not really going to like it all. As I see it there are two problems: One there is no pressure control and two the nozzle are pressed or extruded plastic. Not the best quality for a good job. There's no short cut some times to get where you want to go. Donald
