Recommendation? Has anyone looked at Mokume Gane in a Small Shop

I was looking for the book by Steve Midgett and saw that he has a paper backed book titled In A Small Shop. It's around $80 instead of $300. Does anyone know if it's worth buying or am I going to want the other one anyway?
