Has anyone noticed Ka-Bars new products?

They keep churning out what the average guy can afford and use in the field. The new folders in a realistic price range and the variety of fixed blades in every imaginable color & style. What are they doing that Camillus couldn't achieve?

Feels like a decade since they came out with new stuff, but good to hear that they have some new models out. I rather like the Thorn, but that's the only one I've really considered buying (merely preferences, I'm not concerned for quality). Got some pictures?

I don't know about any really new stuff, but I recently picked up a Dozier thumb-hole folder...and I am impressed.

It came shaving sharp, and it opens and locks smoothly.
Some of the handle edges are slightly sharp, and the pocket clip kinda digs into my index finger when I deploy it, but the knife meets and often exceeds expectations.

$20?!?! Awesome!

I just ordered a Byrd Meadowlark as well.
I love inexpensive knives, because I tend to beat them up, and cringe at the thought of losing/damaging or breaking a $100 knife.

Might get some more from Ka-Bar (fixed blade maybe), as well as an Opinel or two, a Kissing Crane Sodbuster, maybe one of those "Douk-Douk's"...

The other day I ran a search on the ka-bar site for two knives advertised by Big 5 for $14.99 each.
I was not able to find a reference to them on the ka-bar site or ANY site.
I wonder if there is some Chinese company called K-abar or sumpin.

I don;t know about their folders...if they have new models, they're news to me. I DO like their new Impact fixed blades though!

He had the 2007 models listed. The K-bar site didn't?? For whatever reason he has all the new models listed.
