I see that knife center has them on sell. They have a hawk bill folder that I like the looks of. Has anyone owned one? S35V steel and made in china.

I own several, but not the hawk bill. The higher end knives with the S35VN are great knives. Probably the smoothest flipper I own is the Archaeo, VG10 Damascus, titanium and carbon fiber.

Here are a couple more, the Hornet, S35VN, gray titanium and the large Proponent with D2 and carbon fiber.

This one is the Virginia with S35Vn and carbon fiber.

All great quality, good action and lockup.

I have one. I don't know what it's called. Flipper, anodized green handle, M390 steel, on bearings. It looks nice, appears and feels made well enough but I've never carried it. Got it locally. Not really looking for one but it caught my eye. The card that came in the tin is for a completely different knife however. Different model, different serial number. Maybe I'll dig it out and take some pictures tomorrow.

I have an Artisan Cutlery knife right now in D2 steel and g10 scales. I think its well made and a good value..but its not very exciting to me. Mine is a budget d2 flipper so take that as you will.

I’ve had one with a D2 blade. It seemed solid enough, especially considering the price point. As far as knives in its class go, I’d put them behind Ruike and Civivi.

I have a tradition with d2 and G10. It's a decent knife, good lockup, stupid smooth drop shut action. For 50 bucks I don't think you can go wrong. The handle is a bit chunky though.

I've got the S35VN Proponent that I put in my pocket when I need a chunk of awesome ridiculousness.
Big, heavy, and well built.
I'd put it up against any overbuilt folder out there.

Mine is the ATG-1808G M390 Zumwalt.

It's heavy. I'm not one to complain or care much about the weight of a knife but it seems heavy for what it is. I think it comes from the blade which is almost 4' (10cm) long and 0.150"(4mm) thick.

The number after "Ser." on the blade near the pivot is not unique as it appears to be the model number.

It doesn't take much pressure at all on the lock bar to lock this flipper up. The handle design doesn't help to prevent this.

The card that came in the tin was for an ATZ-1815G M390 Tomahawk.

It does come in a unique tin with a polishing cloth embossed with their logo and name and a nice carrying case with their logo embroidered on it that could fit two fairly large knives.

It is finished and made well. Centered, locks up tight, drops shut for those that care, and no blade play on ceramic bearings.

I purchased it locally for $149.99. Looking at their website, I would not have paid anything closer to $299.99. It's not a company I'm particularly interested in so I don't know if this a typical discount one expects. I was not aware of them until after I got home and looked them up trying to figure out what model I had.

Overall a decent knife but offers nothing that I couldn't and wouldn't choose to get some place else.
