The one on top there. The Ontario Utilitac II.

I'm here to spread the word here. My local knife dealer pressured me into buying it (he's a damn good salesman) when I went to pick up a couple Rat 1's, but gosh darn all I payed was about 30 bucks for it and I'm blown away by it's quality and fit and finish! Perfect blade centering, amazing pivot action (much smoother and faster than the rat) and holy does it feel solid! It's even shaving sharp out of the box! I picked it up with the serrations because one of the guys there had been using it on cardboard non stop and it's still really sharp, so I decided I'd take it. It comes with a strait edge and clip point versions so you don't have to go tanto serrated.

I think this knife may replace the Rat 1 in quality for the money!

Here's a review I found on youtube.

I don't care about flicking speed, not at all... how is the detent?

It looks like an interesting design and is cheap... cheap knives are so tempting to me. Trying to cut down on spending though, spent too much on knives and sharpening accessories this month.

It's definitely not as aggressive as the detent on the rat 1, but definitely not wrist flickable.

I have had the utiitac 2 with the clip point and plain edge for a few months . It is a great knife , very solid ,good ergos, while it is not s30v the AUS8 holds a good edge for EDC type use . I would say great value for 25-30 bucks .oh yeh it has a 4 way pocket clip also.
