Has anyone picked up the Becker Line yet?

I read they went under and was told some time ago that another company was gonna market the same knives. Has this happened yet? If not, is there a comparable line of knives on the market? I need a new toy...
 
Some of the old becker line was picked up by Ka-Bar.the first model being the necker. Rumor has it they are going to be released some time either this month or next with some new models and some of the old models from Ethan Becker to follow later.
 
That's a shame. I have a few of the Becker utility knives and I though they were a great value. Is there anything comparable on the market right now? Thanks for the reply.
 
Or, you could just wait another month and see what comes out.
 
I heard through our forum here that KaBar picked them up. Was on KaBar's website yesterday and didn't find anything related to release dates. I believe good things come to those who wait.....

I have my doubts that whoever picks up the line will make knives like Camillus did....very good quality and customer support as well as what BK&T stood for for so many years, i.e. quality, tough, and a reasonable price.

I think that I only missed maybe 2 of the models and am glad that I bought them when I did. They are ALL the REAL Bk&T knives! ;)

I think KaBar will do a good job with the Becker line. They already make some pretty decent knives for the money.
