Excluding the new tweeners and Machax of course. I'd like to get a BK9 and try out the new coating.

I think they'll be going through the warehouse stores of the old-coat blades before they start sending out the new ones. Probably will be at least a few months before the old stock moves out, but what do I know.

I think the 9 will be the one I'm most excited to get with new coating too. When I got my first 9 I went in my backyard and within 10 minutes of doing some chopping I had huge gouges in the coating haha. Not a big deal or anything (Gonna strip and etch my 9 just haven't gotten to it) but of all my different kinds of knives choppers take the most thrashing usually and need a tougher coating if they're gonna bother having a coating.

I think I remember Moose saying they might not be seen until the summer when the old stock is finally depleted. I could be wrong though

Theres still a few i want to pick up Before the new coatings come out,
i think the old ones may be easer to strip but the main reason is the stamps,
that way it wont be blank. much easer than etching,

gonna pick up a 7 as soon as they get the new coating on em.saw a cam 7 at the smkw one time and it looks like the new coating is similar to what it had.

Yep! I bought a BK2 from Knifecenter. My entire order was held up for a month because other knives I bought were not in stock. It shipped and I got the new coating, BUT, the laser engraving is not there, just the stamp, but the stamp looks a little more shallow than my other BK2.

It also came in the new box...
