It must be taking a long time to work out how much it will cost to freight them all to me in Australia.
 
Vegemite? Food or bioweapon … your choice.

Personally, I think it's great, but none of the Americans I've tried to introduce to it believe me so far.
 
For those who are interested, here is the best description of the taste and texture of Vegemite I can come up with.

Saltier than anchovies, incorporating the yeasty gunk out of a bottle of stout, sort of hearty like beef stock, and with the consistency of axel grease.

And it’s completely yummy!
 
No point trying to sugar coat what it tastes like.

Just remember, buy a small jar (in case you don't like it), and spread it thin on toast with quite a bit of butter.

Within a year the butter will be gone, and you'll be smearing lots of it on.

if its a secret,,,then it is probably something that you wouldnt want to eat if they told you what was in it :eek: :eek: :D
