Has anybody removed the Spyderco Gayle Bradley scales, and replaced them with some other type of material? Are the carbon fiber scales glued to the steel liners, or attached some other way? I'm curious what my options are if I ever wanted to change or modify the scales.

I believe the scales are epoxied onto the liners. Not sure if a solvent could remove it without harming the liners.

Yes I have removed them on mine. No they were not glued in place. No the lanyard tube was not flared, total disassembly is fairly simple. No I have not replaced them, I still need to drill the holes in the new carbon fiber (full size) scales I'm making.

Thanks for the info, it sounds like everything is held together by the screw construction? I'll play around with it later and see how it goes.
