has anyone seen this?

"Carbonitride titanium blade "
"10 times harder than steel and stays sharp 10 times longer than steel"
then this
"Additional Specs "
"All AUS8 blade"

what a rip, and a ripoff...

That's so funny it's pathetic....

The blade Steel is really AUS8, not really all that bad a steel.

The Carbonitride titanium blade refers to the coating not the blade materal, but people will fall of that one anyway.

AUS8 CAN be a good steel, but it seems to me it must take a friggin' genius to heat treat it, most of the AUS8 knives I've seen are so hard they chip and break with the slightest use. In addition, trying to sharpen one is like sharpening a ball bearing.

By the way, nice talon hole. I hope they're prepared to write Jerry a nice, big, fat check. LOTS of zeros.

Imagine how much more money I would have if I collected those instead, you know there wouldn't be any flavors so I would have so much money. O wait, I care about the quality of a knife, forget it :) INFI for me!

don't worry, all.

I bought them all out so you won't be tempted.

Expect to see me listing them on Ebay in a few weeks. "If you are looking at these, you know what they are. These are ultra rare, never publicly released Busse's. They are super secret new Infi2 blades, and as you know that means they are 10 times harder than Infi, and the edge lasts 10 times longer. Bidding will start at 1000 a piece."

Some one found these a while ago. Aus8 can be a decent steel. Nothing special, but not total crap. The question, do you really think that those have any kind of a good heat treat.

I bought a crkt m16 with aus 8. I absolutely could not get even a remotely good edge on it. I tried stones, failed. Paper wheels, failed. Sandpaper mousepad, failed. Even my belt sander failed to get that knife sharp. I could not get it to even cut skin without a lot of pressure. It must have been faulty somehow. I was so upset with it I hammered the knife into a tree stump and kicked it in half. I'm not an aus 8 fan. It must have been a bad HT, because i've heard of other people loving the same knife with the same steel.
