I'm a brand new member, so please forgive me if I'm in the wrong section. I looked through every forum category and did a search for several different terms and couldn't find what I'm looking for.

I have a CH 3516 that has a tiny chip on the tip of the blade. I am going to try to get it out with my stones but I wanted to contact CH Knives first to see what it might cost to get a replacement blade from the manufacturer.

Is that even a thing that knife manufacturers will do?

I don't think sending it to China, assuming you're not there, will be cost efficient.
Sending a blade from China may not be either, and I think the chances are unlikely.

I'm going to guess they don't stock parts with dealers stateside...especially new blades.

Good luck.

Thanks, I used the contact page last week and haven't heard anything, so I'll just sharpen it. It really is a tiny chip.

Why does every knife thread about Chinese production knives have to turn into a political discussion. Every single thread on this forum it happens.

Another thread now past its "use by" date.

Let's keep the politics out of the "General" forum. There's a place to discuss such topics on this site and it's not hard to find.

Most of us who don't live in a bubble already know the good and the bad regarding the countries we trade with. We each have the opportunity to choose.
