Has anyone tried light stippling of BM Grip scales?

One of my EDC blades is a BM Grip(550). I love the knife, overall, but like most everybody else, I hate the scales. I come here from the AR15 world, by way of M4carbine.net, and a very popular method of achieving good "grip" on polymers and plastics, is to stipple. Ive got a pretty decent amount of experience doing this procedure, and am confident in my skill to make it visibly pretty.
My big concern here is, how well would the scales on my Grip stipple? They are constructed of glass-filled nylon, which would lend me to think they will melt very quickly.
Does anybody here have any experience with stippling these scales? If so, how did it turn out? Do you have pics you can post?
Much thanks ahead of time,
Brandon

I wanna bump this up. Im really interested in others thoughts. To clarify, the stippling I would do, will be very light. Not very aggressive at all.

I just used an extra course diamond stone to file away my scales clip side then fine diamond stone to smooth out

I have not tried this but I recall the scales are pretty thin so you would want to be very careful not to melt through them
