Has anyone tried putting Mini-Adamas folder scales on an auto Mini-Adamas?

Hi, I have a Burgundy mini-Adamas and love the way it looks but the action is a bit meh. Loosening the pivot enough for it to drop shut creates too much blade play, which to me is the worse of two evils. Would the scales from the folder work if I put them on the auto version? I don’t have one yet but if this is possible I’ll get one. Thanks.
