Has anyone tried the Bugout pocket clip on another knife?

I really like the short clip. It's less flexible than Benchmade's long deep carry clip and less prone to snag on things. I can feel it less when I grip the knife handle, and it seems to grab the pocket more firmly. Just wondering if anyone has tried it out on, say a 940?
 
I put one on my Grip for a bit. Looks a bit odd at first (small) but it worked well. I went ahead and put it back on the 535 though.
 
The clip does look good in general but I would only consider it on a folder of similar size or smaller. It would look weird on a larger => 3.5 inch blade in my opinion. But love that they added a new clip version.

Yea, it looked a bit small on my full size grip. But a 940, 556, etc, I think would look pretty sweet.
 
The clip should flex less due to it's shortness; but the three hole pattern should be exactly the same as their longer cousins. I agree too. On a larger knife that clip would look silly. Looks good on the 535 though.
 
Looked good on my 531. Of course they're similar sized knives so I figured as much.

Lucky... I called today and was told to call back in a few months because they currently are only giving out the 535 clips as replacements for 535 owners.
My guess is they had too many requests for a 535 clip and are trying to get caught up before taking more requests.

They're sending me a black-oxide deep ride as a consolation prize of sorts =)
 
My Bugout clip is on my Griptilian and the Bugout is clipless in a KSF leather sheath.

Have a bugout clip on my 705 and 707 and of course the bugout itself,
they fit perfect on the smaller knives,thanks to BKC,:thumbsup:
 
Will that bugout clip for any of their knives that have the three screw split arrow clips, like the grizzly ridge?
