Has anyone tried this 20" contact wheel from Claryx?

Every year I go to the Bladeshow and salivate over the Burr King 20" wheel grinder, but I'm not about to buy a single task $5k grinder. I don't see anywhere else online that sells standalone 20" contact wheels. Claryx sells this behemoth for their grinders. It seems pricey, but I figure a custom wheel would be more. I'm not exactly sure if this could even fit my Northridge with a 72" belt. Has anyone here gotten this one?

Don't know about that wheel, but it certainly looks good.
Use a 2"X90" belt for best tracking.

I'm thinking that isn't a 72" belt. The BBA20 and Hardcore only have two wheels and they are pretty close to each other. You can likely put that on your NRT, but I doubt you will get to use a 72" belt. You'll just need custom belts.

HI!
Simeon From Claryx here.

72" belt will most definitely be short. It really depends on the machine you have, but with a belt so short the wheel would probably hit the motor or some other part of the grinder. On our machines, the minimum length belt you can use with the 500mm wheel is 50x2000mm(~2x78") and only in the lower tooling arm slot. To use it in its regular slot ,we even suggest going 1 size up from 50x2000.

As for the wheel, we have updated it from the picture you posted. It is now one-piece design machined from a single block of aluminum like our smaller contact wheels.
