Has anyone tried this leverlock knife?

peace of the biggest crap you can buy. are a fool?? only a fool would buy it. I have played with a bunch of them and I never found one to worth a shoot. please save your money for a better one.

The blade doesn't come with an exceptional edge and the lever has a lot of play side to side but functions fine. For the money this is a fun, cool knife!

gonna agree with richard, this isn't exactly what you want to read on a knife description.

I see number of similar knives come from Pakistan , made by piece workers , kind of cottage industry , the blades are mystery metal , the locks are not awesome , tho they tend to be the kind of thing that is tough enough it wont die , itll never be the kinda knife youre going to take a lot of pleasure in using and be happy with .

That particular one , Id not buy , I have bought a couple similar ones for $2 each and given them to kids to go play in the river with . They will do OK for kids playing , and no one is going to cry blood if they are lost .

Im not a fool hahaha. I want a "sexu/stylish" looking knife for super light work. Nothing heavy at all. I would pretty much just carry this around and use it rarely if ever. Would you say it'll do that at least?

That advertisement is just all kinds of wrong.

" . . . the build quality isn't as good as many of the Italian manufactured stilettos."
Translation: Fit & finish sucks.

"The blade doesn't come with an exceptional edge . . . "
If the maker couldn't sharpen it when he made it, you won't be able to either.

" . . . the lever has a lot of play side to side . . . "
The lock has so much play it's unsafe; it can - and probably WILL - injure you.

I shouldn't even have to say to stay away from that POS.

I thought that quote was a customer review... that's the actual advertisement?

You could spend that money in many better ways!

Anyone who buys anything from that catalog deserves what they get.

Showler, Bladeforums rule on linking:

This is a variation of the "no spam" rules that we have. We know you found a great deal on a Ninja Death Tool 3000 - we don't care.
If that dealer wants to advertise on BladeForums.com, encourage them to purchase a Dealer membership here instead of giving them free advertising.
This infraction can be issued as a warning and is worth 10 points towards your total. It expires in 12 months.

Bladeplay is Bladehq, a supporting BFC dealer.

As for the knife, you get what you pay for. You also don't get what you don't pay for.

It sounds like the OP wants to buy the knife, to this I say, it's your money, spend it how you want. To answer your question, do not expect to come here, amongst some very knowledgable, intelligent people who study knives, and steel to support that decision. The knife is complete garbage. That is what you're going to get here. I don't mean to sound like a jerk, that is totally not my intent. That said, if YOU want it, and it makes YOU happy, then but that bad boy and run amuck. :-)
