It looks interesting, and should work just fine. Ingenious mod for the Lansky. "Red neck wicked edge" I call it. My Idea is similar, but with just one socket holder mounted to slide in and out to adjust the angle, much like the wicked edge does with its slide bar. Should be able to get some very acute angles (10-12*) if mounted correctly.

I wanted to try this with a gatco or lansky clamp, and use dmtaligner stones.plus I have a better plan for a ball joint.like the kmt I believe. Also with a infinite degree/slide adjustment.
