Has Kershaw ever integrated a bottle opener into a knife?

Being a big beer fan, I find this to be a really really handy feature. I don't carry a bottle opener with me usually and it's nice to have on you and not having to look. I have two knives with integrated bottle openers, a Leatherman E33L and a Surefire Dart, and they both come in handy quite frequently.

Just wondering if there is a Kershaw out there with one or if they've ever thought about adding one.

There is one in my memory, Modified Talon from late 90's that had a bottle opener. Titanium handles and ATS34 blade.

I think I remember a newer knife with a cutout on the top of the blade that could be used as a bottle opener but I can't remember which one.

Learn how to remove bottle caps with a bic lighter and then you will always have fire with you too.

I believe the A100 multitool had one. I think I actually saw one of these for sale the other day.

Not a Kershaw, and I know some people will not like the recommendation but a Sanrenmu 763 when closed has the ability to open beer bottles. I do not know if that is its intended purpose but it works and if you do break or damage it it will only set you back $10.

nccole, no some of us don't like the recommendation. This is the Kershaw/ZT forum, it's not for discussing competitors' knives. We have a General knife Discussion for discussing multiple brands in the same thread.

This one does...along with a pair of screwdriver heads. I have no idea how long I've had it or where it came from. It lives in the kitchen of my Airstream.

kershawguy nailed it. It was a 1421 if I remember right.

It was one of my favorite knives. Lock wasn't the best though.

The old version of the blade trader saw (at least for the Sportsmans Blade Trader) had one near the base of the blade.

Quick Update:

The bottle opener on my Dart is nigh useless. It mangles the hell out of caps and require multiple lifts to pop the top.

So I ordered one of these babies:
