Has the handle material for the 110 changed?

A couple of years ago I thought it was made of something different.
It looks darker now.

The handle material of the 110 has changed some since 1970. In the early 1990's it went to a laminate wood. DM

Read that the factory that made Dymondwood was destroyed in a fire. I have a 112 from about 4 years ago and it was Dymondwood. Guess thats why they changed.

Dymondwood. Dymondwood is still being made. They are even making kitchen utensils out of it.
Spyderco used pakkawood and Benchmade has some similar stuff on a few of their knived.

I'm not saying for sure that Buck hasn't changed to something else, but Just that I have seen Dymondwood products even lately.
