Has the Spyderco Manix 2 XL been discontinued???

I was just looking for one of these, and I noticed they are out of stock pretty much everywhere, including the Spyderco website. The only ones I found were pretty expensive compared to what they used to go for, and I haven't found many.
 
The Spyderco website just says it's "Out of Stock".
If an item has been discontinued, it will usually say "Discontinued" right below "Out of Stock".

They've never been 'cheap' in comparison and, with such a limited production run, they usually sell out immediately.

I got mine from the Spyderco store in Golden, CO. Try going there and see if they have any.
 
Spyderco publicly announces which models it is going to discontinue every year on the Spyderco Forum (and sometimes here as well).

The Manix 2 XL is NOT mentioned in the "To Be Discontinued" Lists for 2020 or 2021. Click the embedded links to see for yourself.

Two Manix 2 XL models are still listed for sale on Spyderco's website but, as for many other models, they are currently "out of stock."

So, the Manix 2 XL apparently has not yet been discontinued, altough I would not be surprised if it is discontinued sometime in the future.

Note: However, the "backlock" version of the Manix WAS discontinued in 2019.

It's not discontinued, they just aren't keeping up with demand on it.

I want a Manix 2 XL, even though the name cracks me up. It's the same size as the original Manix, and the standard Manix is actually the smaller version that came out later which was called the 80MM Manix. My original, full size Manix backlock with full steel liners is a knife I very much regret selling.
