Has there been a "Sort threads by:" change?

I noticed in "The Custom Shop: Services Offered" section the 'sort threads by' default is set to 'thread creation time' as it is on the for sale sub forums. But in the old forum this wasn't the case, it was set by default to 'last message time'.

I guess my issue is that since my sale thread is so old it is never by default near the top (for new users to see) even though I stay active in it along with customers. And when I go to change 'sort threads by' section to 'last message time', every time I go back into that forum it is reset back to the default.

Is there anything that can be done about this? Thanks!
