Has there ever been a "Forum Knife" here???

I'm a member of several other knife Forums, and most have an annual "Forum Knife", plus special occasion knives [commemorative mostly]...

Has BladeForums.com/Buck ever offered a "Forum Knife"???

(Why do I ask?, well... From reading the Archives (back when the Search worked! ) and responses from Buck reps here, I understand it would not be all that difficult to have a special run of knives done to customer specs (somewhat like Cabelas and SMKW do)...There is a minimum number, and limited options, and the final details (for instance, blade etching) may have to be farmed out to outside mfgs, but it seems do-able...when there is enough interest...)

Of course, the BCCI does this annually also...with [presumably] a different model every year...and it would be difficult to get everyone to agree on a model (much less the options for that model)...

But still, I wonder...Has it been done???/Is it *practical*???

I personally woud LOVE a BF forum knife!! I think that is a brillent idea. I dunnno if it is doable....

I recall it being discussed but the project never got past the planning stage.

Very Cool!! But how would the idea ever get narrowed to just one model and just one design for that model.I believe the majority would endorse the 110,because of all the favorible BF postings for that model. I'm in favor of any Buck BF "Special Edition", because I only collect Buck Knives.
